About the Artist
I have been drawing and painting all my life and have been working as a professional artist since 1999. My inspiration comes from a variety of subjects, my love of colour, expression and the natural world, particularly flowers and wide open spaces.
Just Abstract showcases my abstract work, work that is created without the confines of physical representation, so emotions can take over and the mind can enjoy the pure joy and beauty of colour, form, depth and contrast. I create my abstract pieces mainly in acrylics, oils and pastel, building up layers to create a depth that is pleasing and ever changing to look at. Each painting is created with in bold vibrant colour, always with a mind to create something beautiful and colourful, specifically to bring joy and pleasure.
